Elfords was founded in 1982 by Mr Elford, a skilled craftsman with a passion for traditional timber buildings. Among his early team was a young Dean Woodgate, who started in 1986 making shed doors and helping with deliveries before earning the role of foreman. In 2001, the two became business partners, before Dean fully took over the business in 2007, continuing the same focus on quality and craftsmanship ever since.
While our tools and materials have evolved since 1982, our methods remain true to our industry’s traditional, time-proven ways. Every structure is still made by hand, never mass-produced, and can be tailored to our customers’ exact requirements. It’s that flexibility, combined with quality and service, which has built the reputation we’ve come to be proud of to this day.
